Doubts and Problems with Astrology

I have been having problems with astrology for a while. I believe that it’s archetypes are more stereotypes. Furthermore, I feel that it doesn’t match my personality or many other people’s personalities at all.

I was born on the 18th December, 1990. My sun is in Sagittarius and being constantly told that I am this gawky, shallow, overly extroverted, overly religious, super-sportsy, clownish moron makes me feel both very misunderstood and very resentful.

I am very introverted. I live more in my private mental realm than in public. I hate sports. I was never popular, always the maladjusted outcast by play-mates until I learned to charm them with cheap jokes. I was never big on humor until I was 14. I was too serious as a child. I was always an atheist all my life though I am compassionate and understanding to the religious. And generally my moods are negative rather than positive. It’s true that I am idealistic and optimistic but those confident feelings are fueled by determination and skill. I know I can do something because I know how to do it and know that I will find a way to overcome any task.

What is most infuriating is how I am told that the only thing I want from life is fun and enjoyment and that I am neither a serious nor profound person. Depth and seriousness are things I’ve always liked since my earliest days. In fact, the main reason I spend time mostly alone and not with friends is precisely because I rejected and hated the shallow high school life of popularity and dating. To be told that I lack depth and seriousness is the biggest insult you can give me.

I find this dis-harmony true not only to myself but to other Sagittarians. Out of the, let’s say, 14 Sagittarians I have known throughout my life (excluding myself), only 3 fit well-enough into the stereotype. The 11 left are smart, kind, and deep. I know other people’s testimonials are different and more fitting in the mold, but mine counters it. If anything, they’re a lot like Scorpios, and Aquarians

I heard that the zodiac signs have actually moved and that the zodiac astrologers use has been out of place for 2000 years. Plus, they say there is a 13th zodiac sign around my birth date (Nov. 29/ 30-Dec.17/18 I believe).

If there is anyone else out there, Sagittarius or not, who also feels frustrated, please share your opinions. I think it’s high time I finally ditched astrology, not just mentally but emotionally as well, and never see it again.

If it is right for you to ditch it, then go for it. But that is not the only option for you. You would be throwing out the “baby with the bathwater.” You want to throw out shallow sign-oriented astrology based on a misaligned zodiac and not even knowing the difference between an astronomical constellation and an astrological sign. Great. Throw that out. Know that what you are throwing out is the dirty water of what astrology has degraded into.

You might want to embrace or seek the original form of astrology, the “baby in the bathwater.” This is individualized to each person and very ancient and thorough. Capricorn & Gemini in a Relationship

How can u make a relationship with a capricorn and gemini work?

Im a capricorn woman and im in a relationship with a gemini man i jus wnt to kno are there any other couples out there in the same situation one big thing thats hard for me to deal with is there mood swings and i know there the twin sign bt how do u deal with it and still have a good relationship……….

I am Capricorn (rising) and my wife (of 13 years) is Gemini (rising).

Maybe some things are not easy because we are so different in the practical details of how we naturally live and organize our day to day lives (because these are the signs or our practical ascendants). But that becomes part of the very rewarding fun of the relationship – learning to blend with another person and learning to see life from a vantage point very different from the one I started out with before I married that lovely lady.

Other factors in our charts, besides our ascendants, are nicely aligned – so it is easy to draw the strength from those good alignments to deal with circumstances when the “misalignment” of our ascending signs feels weird or difficult.

No relationship, even with the perfect alignments, can work without love. And with love any relationship, even the most misaligned, can work wonderfully. It is just that when there is misalignment there are challenges to the easy expression and communication of love. Love which faces challenges, however, becomes far superior to love that has a life on easy street!

Which zodiac has a hard time caring?

Different people for different reasons.

Aries would have problems because they care too much about their own stuff.

Taurus tends to care a lot, but has problems caring about stuff that isnt practical.

Gemini cares about everything till the moment it becomes boring, then they have a hard time

Cancer cares so much, but is really worried about letting you know.

Leo cares a lot about how it affects him or her. If it doesnt affect him or her, caring aint easy

Virgo tends to care a lot, but sort of overdoes it, and also doesnt really care about “impractical” things

Libra cares, but has a hard time caring about smaller things

Scorpio cares, but in a way that “you wouldn’t understand, and I don’t care if you don’t to be honest.”

Sagittarius cares about learning the thing, not always about the thing itself.

Capricorn doesn’t care much… they have too much work to do already, they already care too much.

Aquarius cares, but in an etherial way.

Pisces cares deeply, so deeply that it is often too confusing to show properly to others.

- I am talking about SIGNS, not about people. People are combinations of the 12 signs in unique formulas.

I Love the Signs I am Supposed to Hate?

Why do I love all the signs I’m supposed to hate?

I am a Leo Sun, Virgo Rising, and Taurus Moon.

I always attract *and absolutely adore* Aquarius, Virgo, Capricorn, Leos.. I was always under the impression I was supposed to not like these signs..

Trines are always attractive. Capricorn and Taurus are trine to one another. Your Taurus Moon is trine to all the “Capricorns” you like.

Same signs are also very attractive. You say you are attracting and adoring Virgos and Leos… you have a Leo sun and a Virgo ascendant. Thats normal.

Opposite signs are very attractive. Leo is opposite aquarius. So your Leo Sun is attracting and adoring all those Aquarius.
