Perfectly Terrible Relationships, Tarot, Squares, & Conjunctions

Perfectly Terrible Relationships

What two signs would always argue with eachother but never leave one another?

Young Couple in Relationship Conflict

To stretch, I could say OPPOSITE signs have this trait somewhat (for example Taurus/Scorpio) because this is the attraction of opposites, which is the most exciting and therefore least smooth. But, it’s not really about two signs. It could be caused when one planetary pairs is in a highly compatible sign, but another planetary pair is in a highly incompatible sign. For example, her moon in Aries and his moon in Capricorn = conflict, but she also has ascendant in Capricorn and he has ascendant in Cancer = attraction.

Also sometimes two individuals have very poor relationship karma in their horoscope, and these two individuals form lasting relationships (good “compatibility”), which means that their lousy relationship karma has found its perfect lasting expression. =)

Tarot cards.

Do you believe in Tarot?

The Tarot, in my opinion, acts as a CONDUIT for the super-soul to speak to you or I using symbolic language that bypasses our rational intellect – so that the universe’s message to us can communicate more clearly without being twisted by our own thought processes. For the Tarot to work, the person reading it must be in touch with the universal energy (“supersoul”) speaking through the Tarot. It is actually the universal energy, not the Tarot, which is predicting and providing the guidance. The Tarot is merely the vehicle of communication.

Venus square Saturn transit

Holy hell………..Venus Square Saturn… anyone else experience this transit?
What did you feel and what happened?

Before Astrology skeptics answer: Yes, I am well-aware astrology is pseudoscience. I do not base life decisions, etc. on astrology. It is a hobby. That is all.

Astrology is not “psuedo science” – don’t bow down to the opinions of the brain-dead and heart-removed. Astrology is the mother of all sciences. This is a historical fact.

Regarding “Venus Square Saturn” – you should know that when you asked this question Saturn was about 18º away from Venus. A square is 90º. Therefore I doubt you mean that Venus and Saturn are currently square, since they are not.

You might mean that Venus is currently square to YOUR Saturn (the place Saturn is in your birth chart). In which case only persons with saturn in the same or opposite place in the zodiac as you would be able to be experiencing the transit at the moment.

Or you might mean that Venus is square Saturn in your horoscopes, but the you wouldn’t / shouldn’t have called it a “transit.”

In any case besides the last, my opinion (which is shared by the vast majority of astrologers) is that the transit of Venus is not particularly powerful (on its own) unless it is during a station, because she is an inner planet and therefore moves too quickly to cause much influence to the point she is transiting. Most likely whatever it is you are experiencing now is due to some other cause, mainly, and the “Venus square Saturn” thing is playing a supporting role.

Out-of-sign conjunctions

So, how do you look at this? Let’s say someone has one planet in the last few degrees of Taurus, conjunct one planet in the first degrees of Gemini? Will this aspect work? Experiences?

Since I use sidereal zodiacs, I use the lunar mansions very extensively. 8 out of 12 times the lunar mansions blur the borders between two signs, building a bridge from one to the next. I seem to have found that when two planets occupy the same lunar mansion they form conjunctions, regardless if their position in that lunar mansion is in two different signs or not.

Do note, that conjunctions are between planets, not sign. For example a Venus / Jupiter conjunction will blend the natures of Venus and Jupiter (“faithful lover” / “positive artist” / “religious love” etc), regardless of what sign the conjunction occurs in. The main thing is that the two planets operate cooperatively. Then, the next thing is that this cooperative energy then operates with the resources available to it, give by the sign(s) it occupies.

Q&A For Today: 2010, November 18

Capricorn Lovers

True or False: A Capricorn is not into you if he hasn’t contacted you in a week or over a week?

Generally if a person hasn’t contacted you in a week, regardless of the sign or astrology, he/she is not thinking about you, so you can conclude that he/she is “not into you.”

BUT of all the signs, a sign ruled by Saturn (Capricorn or Aquarius) has the most leeway in this. Why? Because Saturn spends lots of time by himself, is odd, and has an odd sense of privacy. So people influenced strongly by Saturn (as you could say is the case for persons with Asc. Moon or Sun in a sign of Saturn) will be more likely to withdraw from you for a stretch of time without necessarily meaning they are not thinking of you, or are not into you.

In general, it means the person is not into you – but with a Saturn person (like “a Capricorn”) there is a better than normal chance that this might not be true.

Mutual Reception

Is Mutual Reception between planets always beneficial?

I have Moon in Aries and Mars in Cancer – so the planets are in each others sign of rulership. Some sources say that this would improve the relationship between the two planets, while others say it will have either little effect or even a detrimental effect since the planets square each other.

Vedic astrology has a lot of interesting things to say about Mutual Receiption (called “parivartana yoga” in the original language, Sanskrit). According to these principles, Mutual reception is all about the HOUSES, much more than it is about the planets facilitating the mutual link between the houses. You interpret the effect of the mutual reception primarily based upon the two houses that are linking. They say there are two general categories of Mutual Exchange: “fortunate” and “unfortunate” – when “good” houses link with other “good” houses – or when “bad” houses link with other “bad” houses, we interpret the link between these houses with a “fortunate” or favorable slant. But when a “good” house links by mutual exchange with a “bad” house, we have to interpret the interlink between the two houses with an “unfortunate” or negative slant.
I have an article with more details somewhere… here it is: http://vicdicara.com/parivartana.php
I hope this is exciting and helpful for you!

Duh… Am I Smart?

If you have gemini moon are you smart?

The Moon is about the “mind” – but the mind is not about the ability to think fancy and well organized thoughts. The Mind is about what we like and dont like, desire and dont desire, want and dont want, love and hate – this is why the mind is the home of all emotions.

Mercury is the planet of the “intelligence” – so is more concerned with “smartness.”

The fifth house is even more important than mercury as far as the intelligence of a person goes.

Unnatural Births

Does a cesarean section influence the natal chart?

Later this week I will be working on a natal chart for a child born of a cesarean section. I know there are many schools of thought in astrology that will argue the accuracy of the birth time data on both sides of the spectrum. I was wondering what others thought about this. Does the c-section interfere with the natural law, thereby not allowing for accurate astrological birth data, or do you believe that the outside influence is part of the cosmic plan for the child making the birth time indeed an accurate figure to work with?

I was taught, from Vedic teachers, that a child is astrologically “born” the moment he or she takes the first breath.
I was also informed that in very, very ancient, distant epochs, astrological charts were calculated from the time of conception, not the time of birth – using different rules – but that this science and its practicality is completely lost on the modern epoch. So we use a second-best system – birth-time.
No matter what, it is impossible to be perfectly accurate. It just isnt humanly possible in any science or practice or art. Work with your client and be useful, not perfect.

Capricorns and Immaturity

Capricorn

Question

Can Capricorns be really immature if you know them well?

I got to know this Capricorn male well and I think he’s gotten too comfortable with me because he’s now really immature and acts awefully stupid which irritates me at times. He was more serious and calm at the beginning. It’s kinda cute but like ahhhhhhhhhhh drives me nuts. Might I add I’m a Leo.

Answer

Anyone of any sign can be immature, or mature. In fact even a single individual might be immature at one stage of his or her life, and quite mature at another. Astrologically, this is because “signs” are not “astrology” – they are one out of a few dozen important PARTS of astrology.

Immaturity can happen for a lot of different reasons, or pertaining to a lot of different areas. Generally Mercury can generate immaturity when it is not happy and healthy in the person’s chart. See Mercury is the planet that gives us a youthfulness, so if youthfulness is messed up – we never really grow up, and we are immature.

On the other end of the spectrum is Saturn. This planet is responsible for the opposite – it gives us agedness. So If Saturn is messed up in a horoscope the person will not age correctly, which promotes immaturity.

When both factors are there, it is a very strong inclination towards immaturity.

This sort of gives you an idea of how astrology really works, I hope – as well as some specific information about your question.

Also, just to talk about the sign itself, not the person: Capricorn belongs to Saturn. Saturn is the most strange and oddball of all the planets – being left far away from the others on his own most of the time. So Saturn is most distant on the surface, but the most strange when you finally get close.

Aloof Capricorns?

Question

Can capricorns act aloof sometimes, and even ‘disappear’ for periods of time when they are courting someone?

Answer

Its important to realize that Capricorn is a place in the zodiac that got developed by Saturn (“Saturn rules Capricorn.”) The more you understand Saturn the better you will understand the basic place that “Capricorn” people come from.

Saturn is aloof and detached and likes being left alone. It doesn’t necessarily mean that they do or don’t really like you. It just is what it is.

People are not signs, they are combinations of all 12 signs and all 9 planets in 12 houses. So each “Capricorn” person is very different. But hopefully this info about the sign capricorn itself will help you out.
